North American Endemic
The species are only found in North America, however many are community dominates.
Occurring on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, but lacking on the Pacific side of the globe.
Occurring on both sides of the Bering Strait, but lacking on the Atlantic side of the globe.
Broadly distributed species that occur on all polar continents except Greenland or Europe.
